Ala Moana Jaycees

The Ala Moana Jaycees is a leadership development organization for men and women between 21 and 39 years of age. The primary emphasis of Jaycees is the development of leadership skills and experiences to help individuals advance their careers while making positive contributions to the community. We learn to manage finances, priorities, and most importantly, people through seminars, training sessions, and speakers at meetings. However, our most valuable experience is gained when we apply these skills through service projects in our community, a real win-win situation.

The Ala Moana Jaycees was chartered in October 1963, and is affiliated with the Hawaii Jaycees, the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce, and Junior Chamber International. As part of an international organization of young leaders, we offer unparalleled networking opportunities locally, nationally, and globally.  Some of our signature projects include the Start Line for the annual Honolulu Marathon and the food tent for the March of Dimes WalkAmerica
