2011 Hawaii District 5 Director
Ryan Ng joined the organization in 2007 as a new member with the great Honolulu Chinese Jaycees. During his first year with the organization, he chaired the signature Healthy Baby Contest and was recognized as Chapter Member of the Year.
He garnered accolades as a Hawaii Jaycees speak-up and write-up winner and eventually competed at both the TOYA and Year-End Conventions for the US Jaycees, where he placed 2nd overall nationally in the Durward Howes Speak-Up Competition. Some State awards include the Nakano, Armbruster and Watkins awards.
With the local chapter, he most recently served as the 59th President and led his chapter to a first place finish in the Parade of Chapters. Other past chapter positions include Executive Vice President and VP of Business and Management. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for his home chapter and was recently elected as District 5 Director at the State level.
His main goal as DD is to empower the individual chapters under his tutelage to grow and become stronger. He looks forward to the fun and challenge of bringing back district pride and developing the members within.
