2011 Hawaii Administrative Vice President Julie Nakata
My name is Julie Nakata and I will be serving you as your 2011 Hawaii Jaycees Administrative Assistant.
I joined the Jaycees in 1995 and my home chapter is the Great Hawaii Kai Jaycees. One of the reasons why I joined the Jaycees was to continue my community service. The more I got involved in the Jaycees; the leadership skills followed And I have made friends with the best people.
The Jaycees has touched my life in so many ways. I have dealt with the different projects in the community, learning the different leadership skills and dealing with the different personalities. All of this has made me a confident person in both the Jaycees and my personal life.
As a Hawaii Jaycee member, I want to see both the community and the Jaycees work together. We can make that difference in our member’s lives as well as the community. Also as a member I want to see our member excel in the different leadership projects out there and gain the confidence and see them excel in their chapter.
I look forward to seeing what this year has to offer. Let’s all work together and be the best Hawaii Jaycees!
