Since its creation in 2007, the Community Organization of Leaders has sought to live up to its acronym. Originally chartered to serve the Leeward area, it now serves across the Honolulu area, welcoming people of all backgrounds.
For 2011, C.O.O.L. intends to promote both social events and local business by holding its regularly scheduled meetings at local dining establishments and put on leadership and personal development projects that are the mark of the Jaycees.
C.O.O.L. also intends to develop as the environmentally-focused chapter during 2011, seeking ways to work with other volunteer groups in the improvement and preservation of Hawaii.
