The Honolulu Junior Chamber of Commerce was founded in May 1930. Renamed the Honolulu Jaycees, this chapter has compiled an enviable record of service to the community, and has initiated a number of projects that have become an integral part of the community. The 50th State Fair, The Blood Bank of Hawaii and the Miss Hawaii Pageant are some of the most enduring and outstanding projects that the chapter has created.
